unEcology I: In the Heart of Rural England

Ecological loss has been erased from the mundane optical experience of the countryside. This optical erasure has been galvanised by the conservative enclosure of the English landscape that fuses rural traditionalism with intensely exploited geo-ecologies. unEcology I engages with geo-ecological conflict and geo-ecological resurgence in the rural East Midlands and the Fens, England, and seeks cues for remaking geo-ecological experience.
